Fair Oaks Lacrosse Summer Options

It is important to Fair Oaks Lacrosse that players continue to develop lacrosse skills and lacrosse friendships over the summer. In preparation for the next Fall/Winter Fair Oaks Lacrosse season, feel free to consider the following summer options:

Girls:

Lakeside Lacrosse August Clinics/Tryout Information

EDHYLAX will be putting on a free lacrosse clinic on 8/18 at 10-11:30am at Stephen Harris Park in EDH and tryouts are on August 24th 9-11:45 AM.

The cost is $600 for practice and two tournaments. Practice for the traveling team will likely be 6-8 total practices with 3 to 4 leading up to each tournament. More information at:  https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/208964 .

Ryquin Competitive Lacrosse http://ryquin.com/

Ryquin’s goal is to collaborate with a variety of the Sacramento area lacrosse programs in order to strengthen and grow the overall lacrosse community. 

Planned tournament:

  • Truckee, CA Tahoe Classic; June 22-23, 2019

Consists of 2 sessions per week (Tues&Thur), two hours each, focusing on skill development, team concepts, and repetition! Groups will be divided by skill level so that coaching concepts and expectations can be applied accordingly. Led by Julia Southard who serves as the Head Coach at Saint Francis HS.

Planned tournaments:

  • Riptide Classic; Irvine, CA June 29-June 30
  • East Bay Fall Classic; Danville, CA October 2019
  • Sandstorm Lacrosse Tournament; Indio, CA January 2020

Time: 4:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Location: Ed Mitchell Park in Folsom, CA
Ages: 8-13, boys and girls

ADVNC Sacramento 2019 Summer Speed Lacrosse https://www.advnclacrosse.com/sacramento-1

Date: Mondays (6/10, 6/17, 6/24, 7/8, 7/15, and 7/22) for boys and girls
Times:   6:00 pm – 7:00 pm for 8U and 10U
              7:00 pm – 8:00 pm for 12U and 14U
Location: Olive Ranch school in Granite Bay, CA
