About the Fair Oaks Lacrosse Club
According to Sports Illustrated, lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in America. This is especially true in Northern California where, in 2008, there were over 300 teams for youths age 9–15 years old.
The Northern California Lacrosse Association (NCJLA) is the regional governing body and league in which the Fair Oaks Lacrosse Club participates. The NCJLA is a Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation incorporated in 1988 and is administered by a professional staff. The NCJLA is the 4th largest lacrosse association in the US as well as the largest youth lacrosse organization in the nation.
The Fair Oaks Lacrosse Club's programs operate on volunteer efforts and are funded through the participating families.
