FOLAX Boys Levels of Play
BOYS U14 (7th and 8th Grade)
The U14 program is designed to continuing developing lacrosse skills and prepare our players for High School lacrosse and governed by the NCJLA. The season will run from mid-January through the middle of May. Practices will be held twice per week and games are on Saturdays and some Sundays. Players will be required to wear the full set of protective equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, and a cup).
Base Cost: $275
US Lacrosse Membership: $35 (Required)
Uniform Kit Cost: $80
BOYS U12 (5th and 6th Grade)
The U12 program is played on a full lacrosse field and is designed the develop stick skills and introduce team concepts and is governed by the NCJLA. The season will run from mid-January through the middle of May. Practices will be held twice per week and games are on Saturdays and some Sundays. Players will be required to wear the full set of protective equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, and a cup).

Boys U10 (3rd & 4th Grades)
The U10 program emphasizes having fun while teaching the basics of the game of lacrosse. The season will run from late-February through the beginning of May. Practices will be held twice per week. When games start in March, practice will be held one day per week and games will be played on Friday evenings. 10U players will be required to wear the full set of protective equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, and a cup).

CO-ED U8 (K, 1st and 2nd grades)
The U8 is a beginner's program open to boys and girls that emphasizes having fun while teaching the basics of the game of lacrosse. The season will run from March through the beginning of May. Practices will be held two days per week. Once games start, practices will be held one day per week and games will be played on the other day. 8U players will play a non-contact version of lacrosse. The players will only need a lacrosse stick This group will play small sided non-contact games with a soft ball.
Base Cost: $120 (Includes Stick)

NEW CHEST PROTECTOR SAFETY STANDARDS
Beginning January 2022, all shoulder pads must meet the NOCSAE ND200 standard for commotio cordis and must contain an SEI certification mark.
